Home Health Services
Home Health services provided by The Lutheran Home are designed for individuals living in their own homes who need medically necessary care. Patients often improve greatly after an illness or injury if they receive medical care in their own homes.
Our goal is to provide quality care in our patients’ homes, enabling them to receive medical care there instead of having to leave their homes to receive those services.
Services can include:
- Registered Nurses (RNs) on-call 24/7
- Medication: Set-up and Education
- Fulfill Physician-ordered Lab Work
- Monitor Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar
- Monitor Wounds and Assist with Wound Care
- Provide IV Therapy
- Will Educate on Applicable
- Educate on Applicable Disease Process
- Provide CNA (Certified Nurses’ Aide) to assist in personal care and daily activities as required
- Provide Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy as ordered by the physician

Hospice provides care for individuals who are in the last phases of incurable diseases so they may live as fully and comfortably as possible. Hospice affirms life and neither hastens nor postpones death – instead, it focuses on maintaining the quality of the individual’s life. Hospice exists in the hope and belief that through appropriate care and the promotion of a caring community sensitive to their needs, patients and families may be free to attain a satisfactory level of mental and spiritual preparation for death and the acceptance thereof.
